Expanding trade finance helps more SME’s grow

North West based Creative Capital, expands services

Mark Frost joins Creative Trade Finance as Operations Manager. He will be based in the North West, working with customers UK wide. His role will focus on developing long term relationships with customers in order to help them get the most from stock and trade finance, in turn helping business owners grow more quickly.

With more than 30 years experience of working in the trade finance sector, Mark was keen to join a privately owned business which both trade finance and selective invoice finance. “Having worked with large corporate funders it made complete sense to work with a company who look and feel completely different. The fact that Creative Capital, of which Creative Trade Finance is a subsidiary, is privately owned, privately funded and offers both selective invoice finance and trade finance makes them quite unique.” said Mark “As a result of the lack of traditional business funding and a drive for growth from SME business owners, there has been a step change in the alternative funding landscape, companies like Creative Capital are responding intuitively to the changing needs of business owners” We enjoy the benefit of working without the limitations of large credit committees and arduous application processes – all decisions are made under one roof”

Marks previous roles saw him dealing with some complex and large funding projects, however, the breadth of his role at Creative Capital will allow him to spend more time in a customer facing role facilitating growth “It can be difficult for small business owners to access the right kind of finance at the right time. As a small team we focus on reducing the time it takes to make decisions and ultimately speeding up the funding process. We are also flexible in our approach. Making finance available for SME’s will help drive continued economic growth”.
