North West Finance Awards Nomination after funding £15,000,000 of invoices

Cheshire based Creative Capital have two reasons to celebrate.  They have just reached the finals of the prestigious North West Finance Awards within the category of Outstanding Business,  whilst passing £15,000,000 of invoices funded.

Creative Capital helps Small to Medium Enterprises fund the growth of their business with access to short term finance. As one of the alternative financiers available to small businesses, they have achieved year on year growth in excess of 100%. So far in 2013 they have made over £6m available to their customers in the North West.

Founded in 2010 by Jon Clauson and co-Director Dai Rees, the business is going from strength to strength, gaining a firm footing in the alternative funding sector.  Servicing many business sectors including manufacturing, construction, recruitment, logistics and engineering, Creative Capital’s method of invoice finance involves none of the downsides to full service factoring, where long term, whole turnover contracts can be prohibitive.

Managing Director Jon Clauson says “We don’t have upfront fees, we don’t have any tie ins. We are flexible with the percentage of funds we advance; and our reaction times, together with our ability to move from application to approval is fast – which is what our customers want. In many cases small businesses need funds very quickly when they hit a cash flow problem. This is usually tied in with a period of growth or expansion opportunities, and if approved we can and do get funds to businesses within 48 hours of application”.

Creative Capital has been surprised by the levels of customer retention. They expected customers to disappear after 1 or 2 transactions, but over 70% discount 10 or more invoices.
